Helping dyslexic learners to read, write and spell!

We are passionate about raising the awareness and understanding of dyslexia and literacy learning. The Learnersaurus literacy programs are being used extensively in schools and homes across Australia, with great success.

Our programs are based on the principles of Multi Sensory Structured Language teaching and provide a series of workbooks to guide and deliver a cumulative, explicit and structured program.

It is a simple, structured pathway for all involved, the coach, the parent and most importantly, the learner!

26 Letters

The 26 letters of the alphabet are your secret to success in reading, spelling and writing. This is where you MUST begin when helping those who struggle!

Maybe they know the song, maybe they know the letters individually, but can they automatically sequence, write, read and match the sound to every letter? Do they know how to use the letters and the rules that go with them? This is often the reason that many children do not progress and find reading, spelling and writing difficult.

Our 26 Letters Pack includes a combination of Learnersaurus products which provide a multisensory approach to learning the alphabet, and an easy to follow workbook. Parents can use the 26 Letters Pack at home with their child, or teachers can use it in schools. After approximately 10 weeks of regular and repetitive practise, you will see their literacy skills and confidence grow.

The Programs

The Learnersaurus Literacy programs have been developed to provide an alternative approach to literacy learning for students who have not responded to classroom teaching, and other interventions. Many other programs assume that certain processes and skills are automatic when in fact there are some essential skills that have been overlooked. After approximately 40 weeks of the Learnersaurus program, reading improves and literacy skills develop! The learner gains success and self confidence improves.

Different Learners

The activities in the program are a carefully structured combination of multi-sensory, structured, cumulative and explicit methods of literacy teaching and learning, achieving ongoing success for the student. Repetitive practice is essential with the aim of developing automaticity in letter/sound recognition, letter writing and providing knowledge about the structure of our language.

The Research

The Learnersaurus programs are based on the principles and evidence based research from Orton and Gillingham, and Dyslexia Action UK, combined with Leslie’s teaching experience and practise over the last 30 years.

Trained Coaches

Our supportive coaches, trained to deliver the Learnersaurus Programs and utilise our range of Learnersaurus products, will enthusiastically assist learners to read, write and spell through an engaging and fun approach.
